The roadmap for this module includes the following items, these are in no particular order; however are all on the list of enhancements.  If you would like to see one item completed first please make a post below.

  • Fix for "Assignment Due Date" validation to allow any valid date format
  • Localize all content including report headers
  • All student grade reports (Instructor roster report)
  • Pass fail option in addition to standard grading

The next release will include a "Grade Comment" option that will allow an instructor to add a comment to a students grade.

Hi Mitch,

I just discovered your Course Gradebook. Nice clean start to this.

It appears that you can add more than one course, but only one course is displayed per module. Therefore a student can see only the coursework results for all the assignments within that course. You would have to add a different module for each course. So the student would see blank course modules for those class that they don't have.

Maybe reserve these modules for teachers so they can log in and adminster their classes on a page. Then add a student view module on a different page where they can see all their courses and grades combined. Of course, it would display the grade for the individual course and then the overall grade for all their courses?

Thanks for all the contributions you do to the DNN community!

Bob,

That exact scenario is on the roadmap....basically a combined student view.
