Replacements

Replacements can be made at the Portal (all pages) or the individual page level.   You can also save your rules so that they are availble to use on any page that you put a Page Blaster module.
To save rules just drag & drop them into the Saved Rules node, or use the right-click context menu. To use them, drag & drop the rules into the page or portal rules nodes.

The SearchFor and ReplaceWith Fields of each rule can use regular expressions. This means some characters have special meaning and must be "escaped" (specially marked) if used.
The special characters are [ \ ^ $ . | ? * + ( )
For these special characters, if you want to search for them explicitly, they will need to be preceded (escaped) by a backslash \ (e.g. to search for a dollar sign you would enter \$ in the searchFor field).

These Rules are not executed on the page or the portal. They are available for use on any PageBlaster module within the portal.
