Hi!
Looks lika a great module, much more better than the DNN core module.
But I have some issues after installing and trying the module:

When I am logged in as the portals administrator, I can´t add any categorys and either not add any documents. I´m not seeing the "Add/Edit Categories" and "Add documents" items in the Action menu. Only when I am logged in as a host for the portal.

After I have created some categories and uploaded documents I can see them as an unautorized user, but NOT as a portal admin.. ?

Questions I have:
Is this module working with multi portals? I see the documents are uploaded in the modules directory. What about security ant integrity between multiple portals on same DNN installation?

And what about editing the "look and feel" template if I have multiple portals?

Best regards Petri

Hi!
I feel a little bit stupid. Just realized the reason not seeing the items in the action menu was due to the toggling magnifying glass in the control panels pga function part.
Still wondering about my questions.

Petri,

Thank you for moving this to this forum.

Regarding the access to add/edit items when logged in as admin. Those items will appear for anyone that has edit access to the module and or page. I would ensure that you are not in View or Design mode inside your DNN site.

Regarding view of the documents, this again points me to you being in "Design" mode and not View or Edit mode. I would ensure that you are not there.

Yes, the module will work in a multi portal setup. Files are transmitted based on a unique document id and are only served by the hosting module. Files are isolated using the module id at the beginning of the file name, and my download page handles the overall proces.

You can edit the "look and feel" by changing the templates inside the Localization files. If you want to change it on a per-portal basis, please use the "Languages" option under the Admin menu. if you want to change it for ALL portals, please use the "Languages" option under the host menu.
