Hi,

My wife and I are planning on creating an e-commerce website.  We are looking into DNN and was wondering if it can potentially do what we are looking for.

The site we would like to create would be able to track user login's.  The idea is that someone would create an account and go through a shopping cart system to purchase points.  These points would then be associated with their account that they can then use to spend on products and services.  Sort of like the Xbox points type of system where one would add points to their account and then utilize the points to spend on whatever it is.  The customer can always purchase more or up their points to spend.

The ability for customer's and ourselves to keep track of their usage, points and order history would be  required.

Is this something we can accomplish with DNN?  We also would need a hosting company that would be able to provide what would be required to be able to do this.

Any assistance or answers that can be given would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy

Is it possible? Yes it is. But I am not aware of any modules yet that work on the "points" system as you outline. Therefore custom implementation would be needed, but not overly impossible.
