Hi,

I try to add a new child portal with some existed template of about 500 pages but it failed.

This work on our internal portal, but on clients production portal failed.

Add with empty template is passed.

Any idea what can I try.

Thanks for any help

Well if the thread aborted error is the one that you are getting during the add, it could be that there is too much data, or it is taking too much time to complete.

Are you 100% sure that all modules that are needed for the template have been installed?

Action of creating child portal from template once pass and once fall.

When fall, than we saw a new row in portal list but without portal alias and number of pages is smaller,

for example if we created portal from  a template of 500 pages there are 300 pages.

What is solution for too much data or timeout?

thanks a lot.

You can increase the timeout if it is just a timeout. The HttpRuntime node of the web.config is what you need to modify for that.
