I am battling an email problem in a child portal. This is in the context of working with the Dynamic Registration module from Data Springs, but I am working on the theory that it is not directly related to that module. My problem is that a new user registration does not generate an email, nor will any other update from the new user account. When I try to use the password reminder, I get a 'Password Sent Error' in the event log, but nothing further. On the other hand, I can send from the Newsletter function, and the host's smtp settings are fine ( I just tested them). I double checked that the admin email account for the child site works fine as well. Is there any type of automatic email issue that I might look for with child portals? Is there good way to debug this, or maybe some things I might try? |
