DNN Categorized Document is a flexible document management module.  The module display documents under "categories" with specialized templates driving the entire document display, allowing your full ability to change the look and feel.  Standard document types also have file icons associated with them allowing you to provide additional visual cues to your users.

A unique feature of this module is the fact that it does NOT use the standard DNN file upload utility.  Files for the module are stored in a specific location for the module.  This is done to ensure that when a user has edit permission to the module that they can take ALL needed actions.  No hassle of additional configuration just to be sure that your administrators can upload documents.

The first release of the module provides the basic functionality needed, however, the following items are on the roadmap for the module.

• Admin interface to allow addition/updating of file icons
• Ability to "edit" existing documents (currently must delete)
• Advanced tracking of who downloaded the documents and when they did
• Delete all files option for cleaning a module out before removal
